I am Priya, the owner of this website, The Pink Craft Box. I live in Malaysia with my husband and 3 lovely boys.
Being creative is in my nature. Crafting and making handmade stuff, is something I have always enjoyed doing and still do.
I have made so many crafts in my life, both in school and at home and have really enjoyed making them all. I've learned how to make crepe paper flowers, crochet, embroidery, cross stitch and even learned how to stitch simple dresses, skirts and blouses. More recently, I have picked up cake decorating, jewelry making and even making handmade soaps!
Why I enjoy crafting?
Being a full time working mom in a hyper stressful financial sector, I find crafting a wonderful avenue for me to release my stress and move my focus away from work.
For that reason, despite my busy day to day schedule, I always find time for my passion – crafting and baking.
What will you find on The Pink Craft Box?
The Pink Craft Box is a compilation of my craft projects. I have a easy projects ranging from DIY jewelry (earrings, bracelets, anklets and necklaces), handmade soaps, paper folding techniques (Origami), greeting cards, pintables and many others.
Each craft project is presented in a tutorial format. And they come with step by step instructions and images as well as videos. My aim is to not only show you what I have handmade, but also to share with you, the steps in detail on how to make these do-it-yourself crafts on your own.
A lot of these crafts are great for own use and they make lovely gifts too! Nothing comes close to the sentimental value in handmade gifts, and you will definitely find a lot on this website.
While I have made a lot of crafts in my lifetime, I have never really photographed them. So, I am literally recreating those crafts and will be adding them on this website as much as I can.
