What are Numbered Lined Paper?
Numbered lined papers are simply templates with rows of straight lines printed on them, from the top to the bottom (with margins at top, bottom and sides) and with each line numbered in a straight line on the left. They are generally the same as lined paper or ruled paper, only difference is that instead of only lines appearing on each page, each line has a number, ranging from 1 to 10, 1 to 13, 1 to 20 and 1 to 25.
All the templates on this page are in PDF format and you will need Adobe reader to be able to open the files, view details and print them. You can print and use these numbered lined papers as single sheets of writing paper or notebook paper, or or you can print a stack of them and turn them into blank notebooks for writing.
To make into notebooks, simply stack the papers together and staple the sides to form a booklet and hide the sides with a pretty tape. Another way would be to attached a ring binder to the printables and turn them into a binder notebook.
Types of Templates
I have a total of 4 different types of numbered lined paper templates that come is a variety of number of lines and colors.
Portrait Layout - Narrow Lines

- In this design, the lines are designed for portrait layout print.
- Each page consists of 25 numbered lines.
- There are 7 pages all together, each page in different choices of color.
Portrait Layout - Wide Lines

- In this template, the lines are in a portrait layout print, similar to the design above.
- However, the gap between each line is wider and you get a total of 13 lines on each page.
- And there are also 7 choice of colors to print from.
Landscape Layout - Narrow Lines

- In this set, the lines are in a landscape layout print. When you print, you will get a landscape full page of lines.
- Each page consist of 20 numbered lines. And as it the portrait layout above, the set comes with a selection of 7 colored lined paper templates.
Landscape Layout - Wide Lines

- In this template set, the lines are designed for a landscape layout print, similar to the design above. However, the gap between each line is wider and you get a total of 10 numbered lines on each page.
- And for this design, you also get to choose among 7 different color options for the lines and numbers.
How to Print the Paper Templates
All the numbered lined paper printable templates on this page are free for personal use. You can print them on any type of paper suited for your printer and use them as you like.
All the templates are best printed on A4 (or US letter size) paper. For best results, use blank paper (white are the best printable papers). If using colored paper, make sure the color is light enough for the printed lines and numbers to show.
Important note: If you intend to print the colored lined templates, make sure the color of your paper is not the same as the color of the lines and numbers on the template.
To view the templates, you will need a PDF viewer program.
To print, simply click on each image above and the pdf files will open in a new window. Each set of template comes in 7 different colors. Choose the correct page for correct color you intend to print. Check your printer setting (paper size), place the correct paper size into your printer and choose the print option on the print menu to print your templates.
What Can You Use These Numbered Lined Paper Printable Templates For?
